Lorenzo Ciari

Lorenzo is the Director for Impact at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and manages the Impact Assessment team for all EBRD investments and responsible for the design and implementation of the Bank’s Impact methodology, as well as impact reporting, results management and evaluation led by management. He was formerly Manager in the Sector Economics Department at IFC, working in the manufacturing, agribusiness, and services sectors (health, education, and tourism). Lorenzo holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute (Florence) and has published in major journals mostly with a focus on empirical competition analysis.
