Rui Goncalves Oliveira joined the Board of BFA Asset Management in 2017 and serves as CEO and Co-CIO, managing a $500M portfolio in fixed income and alternative credit. With nearly two decades of experience, he has executed over $8B in transactions across public and private markets in Southern Africa. Rui previously worked at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, managed $400M in assets, and consulted for the UN FAO. He holds degrees from Oxford, Imperial College, and Berkeley College and is pursuing further studies in data science and private markets. Rui also serves on several international non-profit boards.
