Ueli Maurer
Federal Councillor, Head of the Federal Department of Finance, Swiss Confederation
A former member of the National Council for the Canton of Zurich and President of the SVP, he has been a Federal Councillor since 1 January 2009, heading the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) from 2009 to 2015 and the Federal Department of Finance (FDF) since 2016. He was President of the Confederation in 2013 and 2019.
