Zacharias Sautner

Professor of Sustainable Finance - University of Zurich

Zacharias Sautner is Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute and Professor of Sustainable Finance at the University of Zurich.

Dr. Sautner was previously Professor of Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Amsterdam, and Research Fellow in Finance at the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford. His research was published in leading international journals such as the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science or Review of Finance. His expertise is frequently cited in newspapers such as Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times or Die Zeit.

Dr. Sautner holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Mannheim, a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of York, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart.
